A Park adventure

After filming at Target, we went to phone the second scene the next day. We had left the cake at Melvin's house so we needed to go there first and then go to the park. Naiara had to go to the park and was debating on if she would be able to make it. She thought that she wouldn't be able to make it because transportation was not guaranteed. At first we were going to film the process of getting there but everyone couldn't walk there at the same time. Once we got to the park we settled and we started decorating the nearest table. We realize we needed some utensils for the cake. There was a nearby store so naira and her boyfriend went there. We also needed tape but didn't have any so we only got utensils. Once they got back we started blowing up balloons and naiara came up with an idea. She figured that we would get a stick and tie rubber band to the balloon. Then we thought of an idea to use one of the girls that were playing in the park. This was not a girl we knew so we thought it would be cool. The scene would go as us decorating the table and filming that. Next we would video my phone of me typing in a phone number. After that we had the girl cover eyes and walk up to the table and surprise her. We had her grandma to help her with it so she would feel comfortable. When we finished filming we all decided to eat the cake and chill. Coincidentally, today was that girl's birthday so it all makes sense. In the end it all went well.

  Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays. Our Pitches!

  Pitch One - As a man drives along peacefully, his GPS suddenly malfunctions, leading him in the wrong direction. Little does he know the way he's going is the way to his demise. This first pitch has some interesting dynamic to it, it feels straight forward and it has its uniqueness in general. However its not the most interesting because the viewers can probably predict the entire movies plot from start to finish. We want it to be something unexpected and mysterious. It also may be hard to film since it does involve driving and only one of us has a permit to actually allow us to drive. There are too many cons that come with making this pitch and it probably isn't our safest or easiest route to take. Pitch Two - A girl has a doll that enjoys playing with all the time, until one day that doll mysteriously disappears. She goes off to find it herself.  This pitch has its potential into becoming something very interesting for our film. Even though it does have a common plot line....
