Title Design

For the opening credits of the film most of the text will be handwritten font and will appear on screen as some one is writing in real time, some of the other credits that don’t need to be the main focal point will fade into the screen or will be embedded into the background.

Our working title of our film will most likely be "Dollie"

It will either be in anyilla, sunkiss or beabella font and it will be in lowercase, it will look something like this




 


The title will appear on screen as if it was handwritten and it will come off screen as if it is being erased or it will fade off the screen

The title will disappear after 6 or 7 seconds of it being on screen

Depending on the background lighting and color, I will use bright and easy colors like pink and hot pink so it wont blend in with the background scene





The people who worked on a specific role will have their names significantly larger than the title and it will look something like this: Music By: Vera Lynn

  Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. Genre Research: hereditary

 This movie has elements that our group would like to include in our final task such as the tense ambience created by the mysterious entity that disturbs the family. Having a mood that puts the viewer at the edge of their seat while also trying to solve and figure out what's going on is something Hereditary does well and something our group would like to recreate into our film. Another element that inspired our film was the use of subverting the viewers expectations. This movie may make the viewer believe one thing is going on when in reality something entirely different may be happening. The unpredictable nature of Hereditary is a great base for a mystery film as mystery constantly wants the viewer confused and questioning. Some elements that we enjoyed were the nonstop tension as the family would often be arguing and constantly fighting over something they do not understand.
