Naiara's Editing

So Naiara decided to edit the music video. She didn't really show me the process but she did say it's almost done. I feel like she will edit it good because she uses iMovie. I movie is not really that popular because I don't know people who use it. I don't know much about it but I heard that it's a great source. Her boyfriend helped to film us mostly so I feel like he's helping too. Hopefully she'll add some good transitions to the clips. At first she was a little bit confused on what song we were doing. Then we had to make it clear to her. She says that, " What had to be done was run the entire film. Once I did that, I saw that the duration went under 1 minute. So, I had to go back and check and see which scenes i needed to extend. I first cut down the first opening scene by a couple seconds. Then I speed up the scene where one of the actors is walking then slow it down when they grab the basket.This gave me more time which was good for the film so that way i can add more parts/transitions. Then there were some scenes that were cut, in a way that looked like a split screen. I have to use another editing site since the one i'm using (iMovie) does not give me the option to make a split scene. The phone scene was cut very short. I didn't have enough time to finish editing today so i'm going to continue editing the music video tomorrow. " Hopefully she gets it done on time. There's not really much to say because I'm not editing the music video but willingly it will turn out well.
