Finishing Touches!!

This Is the final day of editing and I got a lot done. So, I used 3 different apps to edit. At first I used filmora and I added all of the clips. I had to cut some parts of the clips so the commercial can be 27-30 seconds. I also added the icon overlay which wasn't hard. I added a transition to the icon so it wouldn't just pop up. I couldn't use filmora alone because they have a watermark and I had to save what I have. The watermark is the banner of filmora that is in the way of the video. Then I moved it to VideoPad to remove the watermark. However, I couldn't add any audio to the video. I found the audio off of YouTube and it was easy to find. I had to make sure it had no copyright. I downloaded it off of mp3juice.cc. Once I got the audio, I searched up a quick editor app and I used capcut. I sent the video to my email downloaded it to my phone. I had to upload it to google drive because of the size. It didn't really stop me from downloading it on my phone though. I already had capcut to my phone prior so it was more convenient. I didn't really add any transitions to the video because of the time lapse. the only transition I added was from the logo coming in.

  Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays. Genre Research: hereditary

 This movie has elements that our group would like to include in our final task such as the tense ambience created by the mysterious entity that disturbs the family. Having a mood that puts the viewer at the edge of their seat while also trying to solve and figure out what's going on is something Hereditary does well and something our group would like to recreate into our film. Another element that inspired our film was the use of subverting the viewers expectations. This movie may make the viewer believe one thing is going on when in reality something entirely different may be happening. The unpredictable nature of Hereditary is a great base for a mystery film as mystery constantly wants the viewer confused and questioning. Some elements that we enjoyed were the nonstop tension as the family would often be arguing and constantly fighting over something they do not understand.
